Little Buddy

So tonight Taylor and I do our usual ritual, Get home from soccer practice or like tonight a game (they lost again 0-8, That makes them 0-5 for the season with no goals. I might have to step in to take over.)We get her homework done which sometimes can be a struggle, as she is working on homework I'm making dinner. After dinner we try and relax, she usually just goes and watches TV or listen to her Ipod, she could careless about what I'm doing. Tonight has been different. Every room I go in she's not far behind, I put laundry in she in the bathroom with me, I take a shower she is in the bathroom plucking her eye brows(Thanks Honey for that one)
I'm just soaking it all up because I don't know how long this will last. She is growing up sooooo fast. Its hard to believe that I took care of her when she was only about 5-6 months old and now she's 12. How time flies!!
She has become My "Little Buddy"

Thankful for the Little Things

So my husband has been asking for my help with our family blog. Since my time has been so limited, I see he has now asked for all of your help. The truth is he doesn't need help at all and from all your comments you too seem to agree with me.
Honey, the truth is you are doing an excellent job on keeping everyone up to date
with what is going on at home. Even through all of our changes in our life right now, I am thankful still for all the "little things".
Life is so unpredictable. For us, our changes have been very drastic and has turned our world upside down. However, it makes us appreciate the smallest things such as being able to come home when I am able and enjoying the small amount of time I do have with Sonny and Taylor. This weekend I was able to come home on Saturday and returned to the hospital on Sunday. The time was limited but we all made the most of it! Life was good this weekend!!
So my reason to post was I wanted to give Sonny that added extra help that he so doesn't need. His blogs have been perfect. I love reading them and I enjoy having such an amazing man in my life....one that is strong, steady, unselfish, always giving and just an overall beautiful part of my life and my kids life. Our new life just began and although it is crazy right now it is still a good life and I am thankful for it in every way.

"HELP"

Hello Everyone!! It been a while since my last Blog. To tell the truth it takes a lot of time to post a blog, time that I don't really have, but I'm trying. My title for this blog is "HELP" Its not that I personally need help, I need help to understand if guys are good Bloggers??? All of the blogs that are in the family are all done by Women. I myself am sure I not one of them. My Help question is should I be blogging, I a kind of guy that could clean a house, do laundry, vacuum, make dinner, I also could remodel my home, build a tree house for the kids, change the oil in the car, basically I can do anything, not that I'm bragging, because I'm not a bragger.
The one thing I can't figure out is how to Blog. This has stumped me. I sit at the computer thinking of my day/days, things that Taylor and I have done. When Tracey comes home how excited I am that we get to spend time together. When I go to Boston to see Jordyn, things we do and say with each other. I want to write about everything. every move I make, everything I do. I want to write about it.
But for this guy writing is definitely not his thing. How to you become a good writer, are you born to be able to? Do have to go to school? Do I use punctuation right? Am I just not smart enough? Those are the question I ask when I post a blog. I need any tips people can give me.

PLEASE HELP ME

I miss my wife and I know if she was here she would be able to Blog PERFECTLY!!!!!
I love you honey :)

Summer Vacation II

I wanted to add a little something that Taylor and did on this vacation, Last year we went up to Wildcat Mountain for "Yahoo Weekend" basically a Special Event for Kids and parents to have a day of Ski/Snowboarding, anyway thay had a thing called the "Zip Rider" which zipped you from the top of the mountain to the botton, unfortuanatly Taylor wasn't able to go on because she wasn't heavy enough. After talking with Tracey and planning this vacation, I found out that they had a similar thing in Lincoln, I knew Taylor would be heavy enough this time :)
So I booked it for both of us, I think it was funnest thing I've done in long time, I was so happy that Taylor could go on it because she loved it.

Summer Vacation

This summer we all went up to Lincoln NH, What a trip!!! We stayed right across from the "Hobo Railroad" (Uncle Tim we thought of you) We did all sorts of thing and believe it or not Taylor and Jordyn did really good with all that we did. We walked up the Gorge, alot of stairs for Jordyn but she did it and she did it in "Flip flops" What kind of parents makes their kids walk up a flight of stairs about a 1/4 mile long in flip flops???

We took the Gondola Up Loon Mountain and walk the caves.
Interesting to see Tracey crawling in some tight places. j/k honey:)

We met up with Auntie Robin and Uncle Jeff at "Clarks Trading Post" all kinds of stuff to do.
A Great Vacation we had Thank you Auntie Robin, Uncle Jeff, Luke and Alyssa for meeting us :)

Too cute :)

Home Game

Taylor had her first home game for soccer and I was so happy that Tracey was able to come home and see her play. What a soccer player she is!! We were so proud of her even though it was a
shut out 0-6. Hey, it's the effort that counts right?? Actually,
her team is made up of 7th graders and the other team was
all 8th graders who played together last year. Overall, it was
a great night.

Special Friends

"Jordyn & Annabelle"
Yesterday Jordyn had her first friend come and visit her in Boston. She was in her glory to be able to go to the garden outside with her friend from school and be a "normal" kid. They laughed and ran together as if nothing was going on around them. As you can see they have nice matching necklaces that Annabelle brought for Jordyn so they can be close at heart even though they will be miles apart for quite sometime. It was such "good day" for Jordyn!!

Package

Yesterday, when Taylor and I arrived home from soccer practice, Our ussual thing is she'll race me down the drive way. Of course she is running and I'm not far behind her in the car(Makes her feel good she can run faster then a car, I call it training) anyway we pull up and I say to her, "hey taylor, we got a package" she grabs the package and tries to figure out who it is, the address says Scarborough, ME ????? We both look at each other with a puzzling face. Taylor says," the only way to find out is to open it". We get upstairs and open it, to our surprise there are 4 bags of the most perfect looking chocolate chip cookies ever!!!! and who were they from???
All I can say is,
Thank You,
Albert Family(Robins sister) :)
Uncle Jeff had dinner with us and we also had CCC for dessert!!! UMMMM

Past and Present

Over the next few days I will be putting in photos and some comments of things that we have done over the past few years as a family. There will be no certain order, just photos that we think will put smiles on faces.
As I am here with Taylor and Tracey is in Boston with Jordyn, it is important to us that we continue our lives just as normal as can be, even though we are apart.
